Privacy Policy

Your data, in plain language.

Last updated: November 2, 2026

DraftLedger (“we”, “us”) runs draftledger.co, a site that grades NFL draft picks, teams and general managers and lets visitors post takes and make predictions. This policy explains what information we handle and why. Questions: support@draftledger.co.

The short version

What we collect

If you sign in with X. Sign-in runs through X and Google Firebase Authentication. We receive your X user ID, display name and profile image address. These identify your account on our site and are shown next to takes you post.

What you post. Takes, votes, reports and rookie predictions, together with the time and the bust line you were using. Takes are public. Predictions are stored against your account; the count of predictions for each player is shown publicly, and individual predictions are linked to your account ID but not shown with your name.

Stored in your browser. Your settings (such as your bust line), predictions you make before signing in, and your sign-in session are kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers you. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how people arrive, and roughly what device, browser and region they use. Google Analytics sets cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and receives your IP address and page activity. We use this only to understand and improve the site. You can opt out with your browser's privacy settings, by blocking cookies, or with Google's browser add-on.

Server logs. Our web host (DreamHost) automatically records technical information when you load a page, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. We use it to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

Who else handles your data

We do not sell personal information and do not share it with advertisers. Google may use analytics data as described in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the site and its users from abuse.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information and posts until you delete them or ask us to. You can delete your own takes on the site. If you ask us to delete your account data, we will remove your stored profile details, takes and predictions, unless we need to keep something to meet a legal obligation or to prevent abuse. If X tells us your account was deleted or suspended, we remove the related X data we hold.

Your choices and rights

You can sign out at any time using the Sign out button in the header, delete your own takes, and clear your browser storage. You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it by emailing support@draftledger.co from any address and including your X handle. Depending on where you live (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California), you may have additional legal rights over your personal information, and we will respond to valid requests.

You can also remove DraftLedger's access to your X account at any time in your X settings under connected apps.

Children

DraftLedger is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 to sign in with X. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We rely on Google Firebase and standard web security (HTTPS) to protect your data. No online service can be perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
